JAGDA International Student Poster Award was established with the aim to discover and acknowledge outstanding young talents from across the world and to promote the further advancement of graphic design. This marks the fourth edition of the award since its predecessor, JAGDA Student Grand Prix, was reformed to expand its scope to the world. This year, despite being in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, a large number of submissions were received from 24 countries and regions. The panel of juries consisted of JAGDA members as well as prominent designers invited from Japan and abroad. The selection process was conducted through two online judging sessions and one face-to-face judging session with physical posters, which was held for the first time in three years. As a result, 25 award-winning and 211 selected works have been chosen among the record-breaking 3,110 entries received. JAGDA presents to you the works of next-generation designers who will lead the future of graphic design.
